PRESS SHOP QUALITY AUDITOR SHIFT C

 

An opportunity has arisen within the company for the role of Quality Auditor working within the moulding press shop.

 

Reporting to the Compliance Manager, the Quality Auditor is responsible for ensuring that Fibrax products conform to manufacturing specifications. In practise, this means the periodic inspection of all manufactured components with measurement and analysis of key characteristics where specified.

 

Excellent organisational skills and self-motivation are essential in this role. The successful applicant will be required to plan their own work and show initiative in responding to issues highlighted by the audit process.

 

The Quality Auditor will be required to measure and report on various aspects of Fibrax products, including dimensional conformance and ability to meet performance requirements.

 

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent organisational skills and self-motivation.
  • A keen interest in the role with the ability to take the initiative.
  • The ability to work with minimum supervision after training.
  • A high quality and efficient approach to the job.
  • Good record keeping and a grasp of detail.
  • Basic computer literacy.

 

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • Experience of working in a quality assurance environment would be advantageous though full training will be given in all aspects of the role.
  • Experience of working in a busy, demanding manufacturing environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent time keeping and attendance.

INDUSTRIAL CLEANER

 

Due to internal promotion an opportunity has now become available within the company for the role of an industrial cleaner. As we continue to grow and provide our customers with excellent customer service we are looking for someone to come and join us and become part of our successful team in Wrexham.

 

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Industrial cleaner is responsible for ensuring a safe, clean and hygienic working environment. Work must conducted safely and be carried out to the highest standard. You will be required to keep the factory and its grounds in a clean and tidy condition. You will be working with hazardous cleaning products and operating amongst a busy 24-hour manufacturing operation.

 

Tasks include but are not exhaustive of:

  • Cleaning and sweeping the factory floor using an industrial floor sweeper
  • Cleaning and maintaining print machines in accordance with 6s standards
  • Carrying out planned project work
  • Correctly disposing of waste
  • Cleaning and maintaining the external parameter
  • Ensuring correct storage of products under COSHH regulations
  • Emptying and cleaning storage tanks

You will be a team player, resilient and will be able to adapt to a factory environment as it is busy and pressurised. Your safety is our priority and to ensure this we will provide you with training and the relevant personal protective equipment.

 

What we are looking for:

  • We require all applicants to have a basic understanding of English Literacy & Language
  • Hygiene/Cleaning experience and exposure to the use of cleaning chemicals
  • A flexible, positive attitude
  • Excellent organisational skills and self-motivation
  • Ability to understand and adhere to the required quality, health and hygiene standards
  • The ability to follow direction
  • A strong awareness and appreciation of Health and Safety
  • The ability to work with minimum supervision after training
  • A high quality and efficient approach to the job.

 

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • Experience of working in a busy, demanding manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of Health & Safety policies within the work place
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time keeping and attendance
  • The ability to work timely and methodically

 

Hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm, Friday 8am – 1pm.

 

In return, the role provides 20 days annual leave per year, a competitive rate of pay and full training in the requirements of the role with a starting hourly rate of £7.83phr increasing to £8.33phr after successful completion of probationary period.
